New artworks in the collection – photographs by Paulius Petraitis

The Lewben Art Foundation continues to add photographs to its collection and now acquired photographs by young Lithuanian photographer Paulius Petraitis. Paulius Petraitis is a theorist, artist, and independent curator currently based in Vilnius.

Paulius Petraitis (b. 1985) works with contemporary image, photography and curating. In 2012 he graduated with a master's degree in film from Stockholm University, studied at Utrecht and Vilnius universities. He presented his artistic research at the Photographers' Gallery in London, at the Tallinn Museum of Contemporary Art, at London's South Bank University, and participated in the Riga Photography Biennale. 2019 held a solo exhibition at the Lokomotif Gallery. He also works with publishing – artist's books are included in various collections, including the libraries of MoMA and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Danish Museum of Design, Joan Flasch (SAIC), and the Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design.
